D.C.S.S. ~Da Capo Second Season~
D.C.S.S. ～ダ・カーポ セカンドシーズン～
Hatsune-Jima was once well-known for its cherry trees, which would bloom no matter what time of year it was. Two years ago, the island’s cherry trees lost this ability and all became ordinary cherry trees that bloom only in the spring. Jun’ichi Asakura is now a graduating senior at Kazami Academy, and is surrounded by many close friends, old and new alike. On a stormy summer day, a mysterious young girl, Aisia, arrives at Jun’ichi’s door. She is looking for Sakura’s grandmother to study magic, ultimately hoping to bring happiness to everyone. When she discovers that grandmother Yoshino had long since passed away, she joyfully assumes (thanks to his error in judgment) that Jun’ichi is able to teach her. Even though she finally understands that the only magic he’s capable of is conjuring Japanese confections, Aisia continues her search for magic on Hatsune-Jima. Amid the chaos of her search, Kazami Academy hires new medical staff.

The sequel from the previous series, Da Capo. I was freaked out by the storyline of the first series, which wasted my time completing something so boring and annoying. However, the second season’s storyline has slightly improved. Even though, still the same problem though.. boring starting part..
I’ll breifly explain what so annoying about… First of all, usually we enjoy watch a show because the show is interesting, but this anime always has a bad twister ruining the fun of the show. for example, while we enjoying a humour of a certain part of the series, suddenly a character will have his/her emotion 180′ turn.
Overall, barely acceptable thanks to the ending that ends this series. 25pts is the highest I could give as the plot is originally very good.
I’ll have it rated: 25/40
The animation quality do improved a bit, since they changed the animation production company. So I can’t really compare this with its previous season.
The artwork is not very consistent. Sometimes, you might notice some characters look very stranges when the angle of view changes.
Overall, still better.
I’ll have it rated: 16.5/30

- “Akatsuki ni Saku Uta” by CooRie (eps 1-23,26)
- “Kioku Raburetaa” by CooRie (eps 24-25)
The theme song for this season is lot more better than last season’s. Maybe the type/ genre of the song suits me.. very nice indeed.
While the background music… I didn’t notice anything special… The songs aren’t appealing.. but still suit the anime.
I’ll have it rated: 11.5/20
Better than the first season
25 + 16.5 + 11.5 + 6 = 59points
59points, DECENT anime [09/08/2009]
