UTAR Flea Market 2011 3

Flea Market 2011 - 01

My Uni is organizing all sorts of events from talks to mini concerts to flea market to crappy shows… Most of the exciting events are organized by the clubs and societies though.

I missed last year’s flea market, this year, I took part in it by registering a booth to sell my useless-yet-still-can-be-used stuffs.

Photo Shooting: School Girls, Malaysian Style 10

School Girls - 01

Went to a photo shooting event last weekend, themed “School Girls, Malaysian Style”. Organized by a couple of freelance photographers which are my Uni’s students too.

Unlike my past events such as PC Fair show girl shooting or Cosplayer shooting, this is probably my very first planned model shooting event. The main difference between two is, the photographer has more control over the situation in planned model shooting. When you shoot at an open event, you don’t expect you could have full control over the surrounding elements especially the crowds.

Anyway, thanks to Lobak Yong for inviting and I appreciate that the organizer accepted my participation, and as expected, out of all photographers, I’m the only one who’s not equipped with a D-SLR. Which means, all of the photos are taken with my Lumi-chan (LX3).

STGCC 2011 Preview 2

Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention aka. STGCC will be taking place at Singapore Suntec City Convention Centre this Saturday and Sunday (20th & 21st August 2011).

What is STGCC

Unlike any other pop culture conventions which focus heavily on Japanese Pop Culture, The Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention (STGCC) is the ultimate pop culture convention that unites the very best comics, anime, manga, toys, collectibles, games, movies & etc from East and West.

Last year’s STGCC was attended by 97 exhibitors and 163 international medias from various countries. It attracted over 28000 fans and a cumulative of 72000 visits to the event. We expect this year’s STGCC to grow in both exhibitor count and fans support.

What’s available at STGCC

You can expect to have every single element of the Pop culture to be available at the event, such as, anime, games, comics, cosplay, toys & collectibles, exhibition, international guests, and more!!

What are you waiting for? Grab your tickets now!

More info – at STGCC website.

Paparazzi Prom Night 4

Paparazzi - 01

My first prom night was Information & Communication Technology faculty’s prom night. I guess I didn’t mention anything about it. Part of the reason is I forgot my camera at home that time.

Anyway here’s my second prom night to date – Biological Science Society’s Paparazzi Prom Night.

A house-mate of mine is a committee member of the event, and my friends and I are all invited to attend. Of course we still have to pay for the tickets. =D
