These photos were taken after my final semester. So it was sort of a graduation trip and I totally forgot to post this.
Redang Island being a popular island getaway spot for tourists around the world, it is kind of challenging if you plan to have a quiet and peaceful beach vacation. But still I was able to found a resort which is separated from the overcrowded long beach of Redang Island at reasonable price.
Took a 6 hour bus ride from Putra Bus Terminal to Kuala Terengganu bus terminal. The resort would provide the transfer from the bus terminal to the boat jetty.
Same goes to the boat transfer from the jetty to Redang Island. Here’s our resort, Redang Kalong Resort’s speed boat. Unlike Tioman Island where the boat transfer is shared among all the resorts, Redang island’s boat transfer service is provided by the resort themselves.

That’s it being one of the largest resort on the island.
Took the front seat and it was one hell of a rocky trip.

Thank goodness I picked an odd day to go as the resort has only a few guests other than those who attend the seminar.
Enjoying an (almost) empty resort. On top of that, our resort is separated from the popular Long Beach which is always crowded with tourists and guests.
I guess that’s how we mean by having a quiet stay.

Getting to the Long Beach only took a few walks from our resort. But the weather ain’t that good yo.
It was a relaxing trip, albeit I should’ve stayed longer. 3 days is simply not enough to enjoy such an enjoyable getaway.
