First Impression: Ikoku Meiro no Croisee

It’s been a while since I last wrote anything about anime or whatsoever.. Not because I’m losing passion in anime or writing, just that I choose to spend my free time on either watching anime or other things.. Perhaps one would understand better when 1/3 of his 24 hour is already spent on his work.

Anyway, I recently started watching Ikoku Meiro after having it on my HDD for about 2 years lol.. I’m still figuring ways to speed up my anime watching speed, so that I could keep up with my backlogs.

I admit that I add this series into my watchlist partly due to the moe factor of the main protagonist – Yune. But still, another reason is the slice of life genre as well as the cultural clash premise it has.

The story is about the cultural exchange took place in Paris, France, where a Japanese loli went there to work, well, as a loli-maid. Don’t ask why… perhaps it’s part of the future story development…
